Notification Area Cleaner is a free portable tool that allows you to remove obsolete notification icons in Windows 7 (i.e. icons for programs that are no longer installed or running) from the Customize Notification Icons list in Windows 7.
How to use:
Just run the tool and click Clean. Now all the obsolete notification icons will be removed.
