Type REGEDIT in start menu search box or run and press Enter.

Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI -
Right-Click on the right-side pane and select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Type ButtonSet as the DWORD's value name.

Double-Click on the DWORD value called ButtonSet.

In the Value Data box, type according to the style you want:
- 0 – Light text shadows & dark buttons (Default)
- 1 – Dark text shadows & light buttons
- 2 – No text shadows & opaque buttons
- Click OK. Now log-off or switch user to see the new button & text style.
