Apps from door2windows are truly free and DON'T include any offers to install 3rd-party apps/adware/unwanted software. The apps are portable and don't require installation.
Anti-malware apps cannot correctly distinguish between apps that modify Windows system files with the user's consent and apps that maliciously modify the files. You can upload any app's exe file on VirusTotal.com to check how other anti-malware apps flag it.
2. I cannot open the download page.
Disable your anti-malware app temporarily and try again. If you still do not succeed, try a different browser.
3. I see a blank screen after the login screen, the taskbar and desktop icons is absent.
Please follow this tutorial. The app you're using may have been superseded by CustomizerGod which has excellent stability and very less likely to cause errors.
4. How do I uninstall an app?
If the app you want to uninstall has a Restore button, run the app and click the button. Then you can just delete the app and the zip file that you downloaded.
